Harriet is a spayed female, est. DOB 2/09/06. Originally named "Harriet the Hellion", she has learned to behave in a civilized manner after many corrections by the humans and adult dogs in this house. However, this bundle of energy still retains her sense of fun and mischievous spirit whether playing with the other Akitas or trying to outwit human residents. Harriet is also very affectionate and loving and has carved quite a place in our hearts. She is okay with kitties (will chase if they run, but will stop if corrected), crates well, housebroken, rides okay in a car (will do better with more practice, but it is too hot to take her out), needs some leash work (again the weather is against us), and all in all is quite an engaging little imp.
