Holly came from an elderly owner who could no longer care for her. She
is all puppy! She is playful, energetic, fun cuddly and sweet. She still needs some molding since she is young, but she is smart. Holly wants to be with you all the time and loves walks, though she does tend to pull a good bit and does not yet know how to heel. She gets so excited about walking that she occasional pops up in the air like she can hardly contain herself! It's the funniest thing to see. She gets a little nervous during car rides, but enjoys it if you have the windows cracked for her a little bit. She is mostly quiet. I have only heard her bark a few times and my dog started it. She loves all people and most dogs she has met. It was a little rocky with my toy & food aggressive dog at first. She couldn't figure out why he was so mad when she was playing with the toys. Now that she knows it makes him mad, she taunts him. I can't help but laugh at her and how mad she gets him on purpose. She definitely loves to push his buttons; it's like they are married. They do play very well together as long as all the toys and food is up. She loves to play with her humans too, she is slowly learning not to be so mouthy. A quick 'ow!' gets her to stop right away. I already notice her doing it less. She really loves fetch, I think she would play it til her legs fell off or your arm did. She loves to cuddle. With me, with the other dogs, it doesn't matter who. It took her a few days to realize that my female dog doesn't really play, but she makes a great cuddle buddy which Holly also loves. I find them laying together a good bit. She could probably get along with any dog, but she is a pup so she tests boundaries like any other youngster does, by crossing them. Holly has not spent a lot of time alone or in a crate, but when she does, she chews her bedding. No beds or blankets for this one. She also chewed a harness that was on her when she was in the crate. So, if you don't want her to chew it, don't put it in the crate with her. Holly is about 97% housebroken. There are still a few accidents, but she learns quickly, so I don't see it being too much of a future problem. If you are looking for a super sweet companion who loves everyone she's met so far, Holly is your girl!
