Hello, my name is Hanna.  I'm a 3 year old female Akita looking for her forever home.  I am snow white with peach colored ears and always wear a smile on my face. 

I was a stray living on my own and gave birth to puppies.  I don't know where my puppies are but I was rescued just in time.  I only weighed 45 pounds when I was found, I wall all bone.  I was also infested with fleas, ticks and parasites.

Despite all my health problems, I have amazed my foster mom with my gentle nature and manners.

I am fully housebroken.  I love children.  I am very easy to approach and love to give kisses.  I love to be around people, even if just watching TV I will lay down on the floor near you.  I know the commands sit, stay and come but could use a refresher course.  I am highly food motivated and will do ANYTHING for a treat.  I am very gentle, even around food and at the vets office.  I love long car rides.

There are a few things I don't like, for instance cats, guinea pigs or other small animals.  What can I say?  I'm an Akita :) 

Before I was rescued, I relied on myself most of the time and had to fight for what little food I was able to get, so my doggie social skills are lacking.  Therefore, it's best that I'm an only dog.

In a nutshell, I'm a sweet and gentle girl who just wants to be an active part in a forever home.  So if you have room in your home, and your heart, for me please give me a chance!
