Kumo came to us from a shelter in Kentucky just before the tornadoes hit. His owner was moving and took him to the shelter. Stacy, who is caring for him at her kennel, says he is a "sweet, old man who is self entertaining with toys, but is quite happy to engage with people. He will tolerate being brushed for moderate periods of time. He is good on the leash when he remembers you have the other end. He rides well in a car. While initially mistrustful, he does like people. He loves food !!! He also does the "dancing Akita" when he is happy
