Caesar was at large for 3 months. He was finally darted and brought into the shelter. His owner declined to take him saying he was dog aggressive. The shelter staff loved him and contacted rescue saying he had less than 48hours. We agreed to take him, they neutered him, and in less than 48hours he was on his way to ARMAC. Shortly after he arrived, his scrotum filled with blood and he had to undergo another surgery to remove his sac completely. So far he shows no aggression to non-reactive dogs. If a dog acts in an aggressive manner toward him, he will respond in kind, but is controllable. He walks very well on leash, his room has become the kitty hangout, he has been affectionate to his foster family, althogh he is not enthused about being hugged. His affection is the pet me and let me hang out with you kind. He is afraid of thunderstorms and fireworks. The last thunderstorms we had a few weeks ago late at night elicited no reaction. Wondering if being in the house full time has helped with that issue. Caesar is currently undergoing heartworm treatment
